Who we are

Redtag Designs is a creative design studio based in Accra, Ghana, serving clients worldwide, regardless of where they're located. This policy covers the information collected through redtagdesignsgh.com and its related services (our online store, client portal, and project intake forms).

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, and some collected automatically as you use the site:

• Contact and project details — name, email, phone number, and company name, when you fill in our contact form, project intake form, or lead popup.
• Account information — email and password, if you create a client portal account, along with any project files, messages, or invite codes associated with that account.
• Order and payment information — when you purchase through our store, payment is processed by Paystack; we do not see or store your card details ourselves. We do keep a record of the order itself (items, amount, and a download token where applicable) to fulfill and support your purchase.
• Newsletter signup — your email address, if you subscribe.
• Chat messages — if you use the "Tagie" chat assistant or hand off to WhatsApp, the content of that conversation.

How we use your information

• To respond to inquiries and provide quotes for design and software work
• To deliver purchased products and manage your client portal account
• To process payments securely through Paystack
• To send project updates, and — only if you've opted in — occasional newsletter emails
• To understand how visitors use the site, so we can improve it

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep the site working properly (such as remembering your cart or theme preference) and to understand site traffic in aggregate. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies via the banner shown on your first visit. Declining won't affect your ability to browse the site, though some features (like a saved cart) may not persist between visits.

Third-party services

We work with a small number of trusted providers to run this site and our business:

• Paystack — payment processing for store purchases
• Calendly — scheduling for discovery calls
• Hostinger — website hosting (servers located in Frankfurt, Germany)
• Google Fonts — web fonts

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data on their end.

How long we keep information

We keep contact and project information for as long as needed to provide our services and maintain business records, and client portal data for as long as your account remains active. You can request deletion at any time (see "Your rights" below).

Data security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including secure server-side payment verification and encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data appropriately for its sensitivity.

Your rights

Under Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), and similar protections that may apply if you're located elsewhere, you have the right to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information, subject to any legal or contractual obligations we need to keep it for
• Withdraw consent for optional communications (like our newsletter) at any time

International visitors

If you're accessing this site from outside Ghana, your information may be processed in Ghana and in Germany (where our hosting servers are located). By using this site, you consent to this transfer and processing.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as our services evolve. The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the most recent revision.
